We make acrylic boxes, enclosures, cases, etc. for a variety of specific devices, but sometimes you need something custom that's got everything in just the right place. For example, we do a lot of custom cases for scientific, engineering and mechanical equipment as well as specialty 3D printers, lasers, etc.
To streamline the quoting process this calculator will walk you through the process of selecting how thick you want the acrylic, where the doors will go, and other options.
SIZE LIMITATIONS
Acrylic isn't a good choice for very large enclosures because of the ratio of weight to rigidity. The combined length of the two largest dimensions can not exceed 80 inches. If you are trying to cover two devices at once, it's better to purchase two smaller enclosures than one large one.
ACRYLIC THICKNESS
All panels are 6mm thick for a good tradeoff between cost, durability, sound deadening, and heat retention.
DOORS
Doors can be placed in any panel except the bottom. The "lift" style is not a good choice if the panel is bigger than 20x20 inches because the weight of the acrylic means pressure hinges have a tough time keeping the door up reliably.

AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Many professionals manage air quality using negative air pressure. That way, when you open the door, the particles are kept inside the enclosure. Others prefer to recirculate air inside the enclosure, which is better for maintaining a set temperature. Yet others are trying to keep air particles on the outside from getting into the enclosure. Whatever your goals, we can help you manage your air quality.
TIMEFRAME
This is an actual custom order, so please allow us enough time:
CAD Design: 5 business days
Manufacturing: 5 business days
Test Assembly: 2 business days
QUOTING
The details of how to get a quote are listed in the purchasing FAQ. Note that we don't have an accounting department to run credit checks, process your purchase order, enter our company into your online vendor management system, etc. If you want to purchase, you can place the items into the shopping cart and pay with a credit card.
REFUNDS
Once the CAD design is finished, you'll have a chance to review everything to your satisfaction before giving final approval. Since this is a one-of-a-kind design, there are no refunds or returns unless we make a mistake and the design does not fit the ordered parameters. We can, however, make changes to specific panels for a small fee should something not fit due to unforeseen circumstances.
